Owls

Owls -  Year R and Year 1

Teachers: Mrs Emma Manley
Teaching Assistant: Mrs Imla Mills

Learning experiences for Foundation Stage children are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. During the first year at school we aim for the children to be happy, form positive relationships with their peers and staff and develop a love for learning. Activities are planned to take place in the classroom and the outdoor learning space which is adjacent to the classroom.

The Year 1 pupils in Owls Class follow the learning intentions in the Year 1 curriculum

Owl's class really enjoyed having a visit from an airline pilot. The visit linked perfectly with our learning about travelling to other countries as well as the history of flight. The children were able to ask questions to find out more and really enjoyed passing around the captain's hat and model aeroplane.
