House System at Walton CEVC Primary School

All the children at Walton School are divided into four house teams. House points are awarded for good effort, hard work, consideration, thoughtfulness towards others, general helpfulness and positive attitudes towards life at school. The Governor's House Point cup is awarded every half term to the House with the most points.

Houses are named after four local ranges of Hills and a colour is associated with each House.
 

BLACKDOWN	MENDIP	POLDEN	QUANTOCK

Each House is represented by one or two House Captains, a boy and girl for each from Year 6. Elections are held early in the Autumn term. Prospective House Captains make a speech to their House and design and make a poster, which are displayed around the school in election week.
