Our School
Walton School moved from its outdated Victorian building, which is adjacent to the busy A39, to a new purpose building for primary aged children. The School was opened by Bishop Jim Fox on 17th June 1993.
The building consists of five classrooms, a large hall, ICT suite, large entrance hall and cookery room.
The landscaped grounds consist of two hard surfaced linked playgrounds, an adventure trim trail, playing field and environmental pond area.
The children also have use of the Multi Surface Games Area (MUGA) which is attached to the Walton Village Hall. The school fields and three of the classrooms look across towards Glastonbury Tor.
